Job Summary: Responsible for the clinical, financial and human resource management of the department. Essential Job Functions: The following is a summary of the essential functions of this job. Oversees the provision of clinical care in designated department. Develops annual budgets and assures appropriate use of resources. Interviews, hires, counsels and evaluates employees. Functions as an effective member of the management team. Accepts responsibility for own personal growth. Ensures that a culture of safety is practiced for all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications: The following qualifications, or equivalent, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. Education and formal training: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. BSN or equivalent or enrolled in a degree granting program. Three years of relevant clinical experience. Appropriate clinical certification desired. Work Experience: Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience.
