Job Summary:
Serves as team leader monitoring the daily functions of Membership Services. Works with the Wellness Center Assistants coordinating daily assignments. Serves as first contact with customers. Provides tours and enrolls members. Responsible for general duties including filing, updating data, word processing, copying, answering telephone, faxing, scheduling appointments, appointment check ins, and other clerical duties.

The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below; and specific functions may change from time to time. Serves as Membership Services Team Leader. Performs clerical duties for department. Demonstrates professional attitude. Performs as a team member. Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and formal training:
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience:
At least one year of experience working in a public service setting required.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
Basic computer skills, math skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, publisher). Flexibility in schedule is necessary. Excellent Customer Service skills a must.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to read and write. Visual acuity must be that which allows one to see and read a computer screen, printed materials, etc. Must have hearing acuity that allows for conversations via telephone and in person at normal speaking volume. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
